Badgers to spend Digital Day at Ruislip school

Red Badger are taking part in BIMA’s Digital Day on 17th November.

Red Badger are taking part in BIMA’s Digital Day on 17th November.

We’re partnering with Queensmead School, South Ruislip.

The school is new to the programme – as are we, but we’re so excited to be involved. The day will consist of intros between the Badgers in attendance and the students; explaining what Red Badger does, what each of our roles are about and how we got into working in the sector, and at Red Badger.

Then we’ll hand over to BIMA central command – who will provide a live-streamed Q&A session with all the Digital Day schools involved – there’s even talk of being able to view it in 360º.

Then we’ll settle into answering the challenges set for the day by three ‘real’ clients – solutions to which have been created in the real world. The students have until early December to submit a fully worked solution, so it’s a big task. We’re keen to see how the groups set up their project teams, whether at 14 years old, there’s a tendency toward agile working or if they look to their teachers to create a format.

We’ll keep you up to date after the event with a run down of how it all goes!
