BIMA100 BadgeWe’re proud to announce that our Digital Marketing Apprentice Honesty Haynes-Williams has joined the BIMA100 in the Students & Apprentices category.

Honesty joined our marketing team in August 2019 and over the year has owned our social media content and produced excellent work across a number of our campaigns, including driving awareness and engagement of Sharethyme. She has also shown a real passion for Diversity & Inclusion from joining the BIMA council to facilitating modules on our sponsored charity, You Make It’s newly-launched D&I training course, You Change it to prompting equality with Tech Talent Charter

Every year BIMA, the British Interactive Media Association, launches its search for the 100 most influential, pioneering and groundbreaking people in the digital/tech industry with winners selected by a panel of industry experts. Following social distancing guidelines, the announcement was made at an online ceremony hosted by BIMA on 6 May. The ceremony focused on the breadth of achievement of this year’s BIMA 100, demonstrating that there’s no single route to success within the industry.

“Our BIMA 100 is about recognising the people at the forefront of our industry,” explained BIMA Co-President Nat Gross. “They are the people making a fundamental difference to our industry right now and, given the strange circumstances in which we find ourselves, we need their inspiration, innovation and leadership more than ever. Fortunately, with people like this year’s BIMA 100 nominees, I think we’re in safe hands.”

Honesty commented on the nomination,

“I’m grateful to be recognised for my work among so many other incredibly talented change-makers. I’ve been raised to be grateful and pay homage always to the shoulders on whom I stand. As someone just starting my career, this gives hope that if I keep working hard one day then I myself will the shoulders for someone else to stand on.”
